Why TGS?
An education designed for the real world
The Global School was founded in 2019 with a clear conviction: students need an education that prepares them not only for university, but for life. A school where learning happens by doing, where every student is heard, and where well-being is just as important as academic performance.
We are part of Red Itinere, a network of schools that share a common vision of innovative, high-quality education with social impact. We are members of ESSARP (English Speaking Scholastic Association of the River Plate) and Global School Alliance, sharing quality standards in teaching processes and bilingualism.
Personalized Education and Heterogeneous Classes
Small class sizes allow us to know each student personally, tailor learning to different paces, and maintain a close relationship with every family. We have a School Guidance Team that designs individual strategies when needed.
Bilingualism
English is not just a subject — it is part of the school’s daily life. From the K5 afternoon session, the entire program is conducted in English. Throughout Primary and Secondary, the curriculum aligns with the Cambridge Pathway, and students have the option to obtain the American Dual Diploma.
Innovation — Learning by Doing
We work with Project-Based Learning (PBL) across all levels, fostering a maker culture and a convergence of pedagogies that stimulate 21st-century skills. Students research, create, present, and solve real-world problems. From the school garden in Kindergarten to entrepreneurship projects global pathways in Primary as well as Secondary, knowledge is built through practice. Our formative assessment processes consistently promote continuous improvement and metacognition.
Technology
From Kindergarten through Secondary, technology is integrated as a learning tool: screen-free robotics in Early Childhood, computing and robotics in Primary, ICT and an AI Workshop in Secondary. Platforms such as Matific and TGS Online complement learning and the development of digital citizenship.
Art and Expression
Music (with choir and ensemble workshops), art (in English, with a new 2D/3D curriculum), drama, and an annual concert. In Secondary, Visual Arts, Music, Drama, Communication & Image Design, and an Expression Workshop.
Holistic Well-being and Nature
Our pedagogical approach integrates well-being as a fundamental pillar of learning. Through interaction with natural environments, systematic mindfulness practice, social-emotional education, values-based training, and the promotion of healthy habits and sports at Club San Carlos facilities, we guarantee an environment conducive to the comprehensive development of students' cognitive, emotional, social, and physical capabilities.
Service Learning and Sustainability
Projects such as Dare2Care, Decarbonize and the school garden at all levels, form citizens who are responsible towards their social and environmental context.
